The Concert and Jazz Bands held their annual Spring Concert at the Lindenwood Cultural Center on April 7. Audio Samples from the Concert can be selected below.

 

The 50 piece concert band has traced its roots back to a July 4, 1870 performance  by the St. Charles Brass Band.  Nancy Garza has directed the Band  since  its reorganization to a not-for-profit organization in 1993.  In  addition to a 13 week  summer concert series,  the  Band  performs  for  civic events,  retirement homes and City of St. Charles special events. The Jazz Band- 2012

The 19 piece Big (Jazz) Band was formed in 1999 and is led by Earl Kreder.  In addition to a summer concert series, the big band plays for picnics, dances, Wedding Receptions and other civic events in the St. Charles community.   Many of the musicians play professionally with big bands in the St. Louis area. The above photo was taken at the 2012 Holiday Concert.
