The 48 piece concert band has traced its roots back to a July 4, 1870 performance  by the St. Charles Brass Band.  Nancy Garza has directed the Band  since  its reorganization to a not-for-profit organization in 1993.  In  addition to a 13 week  summer concert series,  the  Band  performs  for  civic events,  retirement homes and City of St. Charles special events.

There will not be a Thursday Night Concert on July 3!

The Municipal Band will be performing on July 4 in the Traditional Parade at 10 AM and Special Concert at 5:45 PM in Frontier Park.

The Jazz Band- 2008

The 19 piece Big Band was formed in 1999 and is led by Earl Kreder.  In addition to a summer concert series, the big band plays for picnics, dances and other civic events in the St. Charles community.   Many of the musicians play professionally with big bands in the St. Louis area.
